Julie + Ray elope to an off-the-grid hotel to marry. On the cusp of their vows, the world around them erupts in chaos, protests, and violence. They must make it back to Jersey, to Shark River, if they have a chance to survive.

Part road movie, part meditation on the nature of humans under stress, Shark River tells the story of two young lovers and an anonymous radio DJ who plays a set list for them to ride out the possible end of days to as they navigate their way back home.
